Olivia Houston is a self-taught independent filmmaker, emphasis on independent. Inspired by her surroundings and observations of the world, her films blur the lines between her own reality and fantasy by using experimental DIY methods. Her films are slightly documentaries, slightly fantastical, and slightly dark philosophical narratives. Currently Olivia is studying at the École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle in Paris France, where she continues to make experimental cinema.
